Navan Championship Show Agility results Only a handful of club members made the trip down to the IKC show centre at Cloghran on a typical Irish summer's day of some sunshine and the occasional blustery shower. However, it was a worthwhile journey for Audrey who enjoyed success with both her dogs. Chino won the Large 4-6 Jumping and Molly won the Medium 1-6 Agility. Congratulations to all 3 of them.
It was good to see so many new handlers out with their dogs in the lower grades and it's reassuring to know that the future of agility is secure.

Golden Retriever Obedience and Agility Show
Despite the close proximity of the agility and obedience rings at the Ulster Golden Retriever Show and the associated distractions, many congratulations to Lynda and Mica on winning their second class A. Congratulations also to Karen and Tess on winning the Grade 6-7 Medium agility.

Glandore Open Obedience Show Special Pre-Beginners There weren't too many club members at the Glandore Obedience and Agility show on Saturday, so it was up to Brenda and Megan to uphold the club's good record by winning the Special Pre-Beginners Obedience class. Well done!

Castlewellan Show Agriculture Show with Agility and Obedience Castlewellan show was all about sunshine and showers with competitors darting in and out of tents to avoid the, occasionally quite heavy, rainfall and the odd burst of thunder. Three club members were successful in winning their classes; Mary and Ellie won the small grade 6-7 Agilty class and Karen and Tess won the medium grade 6-7 Agility class and Anne and Clancy won the Medium grade 1-5 agility.
Well done to them all

City of Belfast DTC Open Obedience and Agility show The City of Belfast Show was favoured with a lovely sunny day with just a bit of a breeze to keep the dogs cool. This was certainly a day for our Obedience competitors with Lynda and Mica winning their first Class A after an 'almost win' last week but for a slight deviation in the scent exercise.
Brenda and Megan, having won the Special Pre-Beginners class a few weeks ago, won the Pre-Beginners class today and Alison and Harvey, a very experienced team, won Class B.
It was a good day's work all round, winning three out of the six classes!

Coleraine Dog Training Club Open Obedience and Agility Show The north coast was the setting for Coleraine show and the weather was reasonably kind. It was a worthwhile journey for some of our club members yesterday, particularly for Lizzy and Buddy who won the Novice Obedience class on their first occasion of competing in this class, a tremendous achievement. This pair have a great future ahead of them. Jill and Bella had a well-deserved win in Class C and in agility Karen and Tess won the 3-7 Medium agility class.
Well done to them all.

 Castlereagh & District Agility Show
After the horrendous weather on Friday, we were fortunate to have a dry day on Saturday, even though it still did not feel like mid June! Peter Dall from Scotland and our own Tracy Russell were the judges and several club members enjoyed successes. Brenda and Megan had their first agility win today in the Large 1-2 Agility class. In the Medium category Karen and Tess had a double, winning both the grade 6-7 and 3-7 Jumping classes. In the small dog category,Marijntje and Senna won the 1-5 Jumping class, while Mary and Misty won the grade 6-7 Agility class.

 IADSA Championship Agility Show
The IADSA Championship agility show took place at Westmanstown Sports centre on a very wet, miserable Sunday. However this did not deter some of our braver members from making the journey down there and enjoying some success as well. Tracy and Be came first in both the Collie Classic and the Secondary/Graduate Agility classes.
Congratulations to them both

Coleraine Canine Show Agility and Obedience This is only the 3rd year of there being agility and obedience at this show and there are still a few teething problems for the organisers. The Obedience tests had to be re-located to the main arena alongside the agility and breed rings which proved very distracting for some obedience competitors.
Glen Smart, who was judging the Agility, made full use of his enormous ring and set some lovely flowing courses. Mary and Misty were successful in winning both the Small 6-7 Agility and Jumping classes, not bad for a dog that has just celebrated her 12th birthday!
Well done to them both
